Leonardo De Magistris (1933-) is an Italian painter who possesses a sentimental legacy to the Roman School of Scipione, Tamburi, and Mafai, from whom he takes a substantial cue in the expressionistic works he produces. Possessing an affinity for imbuing his work with a personality of its own, he continues to persevere in producing the style of art that sets him apart from many of his contemporaries.
